Your baby’s first year is a time of discovery for you both. During the first few months, you’re getting to know each other. At the same time your baby learns to use her senses to explore the world, and to use her body to communicate.
By her first birthday, she’ll probably be saying a few words, will know her own name and can recognize exactly who the important people in her life are. She controls her body better too. While she may not be walking yet, she’ll be able to roll, crawl or furniture-cruise, which expands her horizons and allows her to learn even more new things. |
