Toddlerhood is a fascinating time during which your child makes huge strides in every sense. He learns to walk, run and climb, and, spurred by his natural curiosity, wastes no time in putting his skills to best use. As he gains independence, he becomes more wilful. There may be awkward moments, but toddler tantrums are a rite of passage as your child forges an identity and finds his own way of doing things. During these two years, his language skills develop at an amazing rate, all the better to express new thoughts and feelings. Language and thinking go hand in hand, so make time for long conversations with your toddler. |
