Your child’s pre-school years are very precious. During this time, she develops rapidly on many fronts, especially in her coordination, language, logic and general understanding. She uses words to get her ideas across and often asks “why” because she’s keen to learn more. Her manual dexterity improves, so she draws or scribbles to express herself too. And she develops a good understanding of numbers and some abstract concepts. She’s practical too, and getting better at caring for herself. Towards the age of 5, she’ll be ready for all the new challenges of “big school”.
