Weaving
The aim of this activity, is to get your child outside and into nature, and to enjoy their natural surroundings. Using bendy woody materials (e.g. Willow, which is very flexible), and preferably those you are cutting back in the garden anyway, your child can weave shapes, animals and sculptures of all sizes.
