Help with Nursery Costs

As part of the Government’s Every Child Matters initiative, there is additional financial support available for childcare once your child reaches the age of three.

All three and four-year-olds are entitled to 12.5 hours a week of free nursery education for 38 weeks of the year.

For some this will take the form of a place in a school nursery class for a few hours each day or a couple of days a week, but for working parents with children in a private nursery the cost of a place will be reduced.

You can find out more from the Department for Children, Schools and Families at www.dcsf.gov.uk/everychildmatters.
