May Day

Welcome to our May Day section on iChild!

The first of May, or May Day, is an ancient spring festival, once commonly known as Beltane. Pagans believe this day is the first day of summer. (This is why the June summer solstice is called "midsummer".)

Nowadays we celebrate May Day with a public holiday. We've designed some fun printable activities to celebrate May Day!
