Royal Mail Christmas Stamps Activities for Children

Once again, Royal Mail is running a prestigious competition for primary school pupils to design stamps for Christmas 2017. This follows the hugely popular Christmas 2013 competition, where 240,000 entries were received. The competition theme is ‘What does the Christmas season mean to you?’ and so the children can design an image that best describes what the festive period means to them. You can visit the competition website here.

To support the competition we have some great lesson plans and activities. They have been designed in conjunction with teachers and educational specialists, and are linked to the National Curriculum requirements in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. They can be used at home or within a school or childcare setting.
