Epiphany

Welcome to our Epiphany section!

Epiphany is the Twelfth, and last, day of Christmas. It is said that this is when the Three Kings (otherwise known as the Three Wise Men or the three Magi) reached the stable of Baby Jesus. In Medieval times, days ended at sunset and days and nights were counted separently. Christmas Night began at sunset on 25th December, and the first day of Christmas was 26th December (St Stephen’s or Boxing Day). Twelfth Night starts at sunset on 5th January, before the Twelfth Day, Epiphany, on 6th January.

Enjoy our story about Epiphany and the journey of the Three Kings. We also have craft and colouring in activities. Creative fun for children until 6th January!
