European Day of Languages is a Council of Europe initiative, that falls on 26 September each year. An event of language and cultural diversity that is celebrated throughout the UK and in 45 countries across Europe with the main aim being:

• To alert the public to the importance of language learning
• To increase awareness and appreciation of all languages
• To encourage lifelong language learning

With the help of La Jolie Ronde, we've come up with some great ideas to celebrate this day, with the children.
