Doctor Who Activities for Children

Welcome to Royal Mail’s Doctor Who education resource activity section, to support the launch of Special Stamps celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Doctor Who.
The activities below have been produced in conjunction with teachers and educational specialists, and are linked to the National Curriculum requirements in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, so can be used both at home and within a childcare setting or school. The resources are listed below in the following order; Primary Lesson Plans with additional supporting activities such as drawing and writing templates, and Welsh Language supporting activity translations. The lesson plan content includes time travel, planets, aliens and inventions!
Find a more in depth description of the Doctor Who resources here.
In addition to enjoying these Doctor Who themed resources, children will also be able to create their own personalised “The Future Doctor” photo stamps from Royal Mail.
Simply download the Royal Mail Smilers app from the App store onto an iPad or iPhone, or from Google Play onto selected Android tablets or phones. Then upload a photo or picture, insert the name of the child, plus the year they plan to travel to and their mission! The stamp design can then be downloaded for free. In addition, you can purchase postage stamp sets for £9.99 for 10 1st Class Stamps (plus £1.45 p&p).
