A fictional account, in the first person, of a Lascar sailor's life on board ship. It is based on what we know about the lives and experiences of the Lascars. However it may be worth pointing out to the children that the pictures are illustrative, and not of the people whose account we are reading.

If your browser is Google Chrome, there appears to be a temporary bug which causes the activity to be printed portrait, cutting off some of the content. In this case, a solution is to right click on the activity, save it and print from your saved area.
If your browser is Firefox, there appears to be a temporary bug which causes the activities to be reduced to fit the top half of a portrait page. In that case, a solution is to either to save the activity, as above, or manually set your printer to landscape.
