This resource introduces children to DNA. Learning what DNA is will help children understand the mechanisms which drive evolution. It will also help children understand the difficult concepts of this series, ‘evolution and inheritance’. This resource was written in collaboration with Dr. Mandy Hartley, scientist and author of the "DNA Detectives" children's book series.
The PDF file provides notes for the teachers. It contains keywords, an index for the accompanying PowerPoint presentation and worksheets to create the class quiz.

If your browser is Google Chrome, there appears to be a temporary bug which causes the resource to be printed portrait, cutting off some of the content. In this case, a solution is to right click on the activity, save it and print from your saved area.
If your browser is Firefox, there appears to be a temporary bug which causes the resources to be reduced to fit the top half of a portrait page. In that case, a solution is to either to save the resource, as above, or manually set your printer to landscape.
